Please allow me to introduce myself.

 My name is Denise Leigh and have been called Nissi all of my life. I married
Ernie Leigh 37 years ago and began a wonderful career as a wife and mother at a time when it was not the most popular of careers due to the women's movement. We have 3 fabulously successful daughters that are truly my best friends, and an 8 year old yorkie Bert named to match his daddy Ernie. Ernie, Bertie and I live in a huge log home everyone fondly calls Leigh Lodge.

 I began sewing at 13 years old and it has been a constant part of my life
since then. For years I made everything for my girls and myself except for socks
and underwear. As they grew it included special party dresses, and eventually
prom gowns. I did not, however, do wedding gowns. But I did completely redo one for a good friend who had her gown made by another
seamtress whose handiwork needed a helping hand. It turned out perfectly!

 My girls grew up and I began to have younger nieces and nephews for whom I did special birthday gifts of various types to keep myself busy. Then, four years ago my sister-in-law began to have grandbabies and I became the doting aunt making all
kinds of beautiful designs. After several months of providing outfits and diaper
bags they convinced me to start a business. BabyLove By Nissi was launched. Recently, due to a copyright conflict, we have become Leigh Lodge Baby Boutique. 

 Having never worked outside the home, it has been a challenge for me to learn
how to put together an online business. But I am proof that you can do anything
if you make up your mind you want it badly enough. I can now say I know more
about the computer than most of my family and friends, which may not be too
much, but has been an accomplishment for me. 
 

 My greatest desire is to provide comfortable, adorable clothing for children everywhere. Baby love is the passion of my heart and is the spirit behind every garment I make.
